Content Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-25
We make physical discs for indie PC games. This policy sets out what we accept, what we decline, and how we handle a submission that falls outside the line. It applies to every game, every edition, and everything you send us: builds, cover art, disc art, inserts, and store copy.
Whose rights must you hold?
You must own or hold a license for everything in your submission. That covers the game code, the art, the music, the fonts, the voice work, and any third-party work baked into the build. If a rights-holder can send us a takedown for something on your disc, we cannot make it. We may ask for proof of license before approval, and we act on valid DMCA notices.
What do we decline?
- Hate content. Material that attacks or dehumanizes people over race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any depiction that sexualizes a real person without consent. There is no review path for this; it is a permanent refusal.
- Malware. Anything that ships a keylogger, a miner, a dropper, spyware, or a payload that runs outside what the player agreed to install.
- Builds that phone home for permission to run. Discs are for keeping, so a game that stops working when a server goes away is not a game we can sell as a permanent copy.
- Content that is illegal to distribute in the United States, or that we are not licensed to export.
Why must a build be DRM-free?
Every build we accept must run offline from the disc, with no activation server, no online license check, and no third-party DRM wrapper. Optional online features are fine; a required online check is not. A player pays once and keeps the game for good.
What about mature content?
Violence, horror, profanity, drug use, and adult themes are allowed. Label them honestly on the store page and on the packaging so buyers know what they are getting. Titles flagged as violent, sexual, or political go through an extra review before they go live.
Can we decline for another reason?
We may decline any submission, for any reason, at any time, including reasons not listed here. We are one small company with a limited production line, and a decline is not a judgment of your work. If we decline, we tell you why, and you keep every right to your game.
What if a title already on a disc breaks this policy?
If a title we already made turns out to violate this policy, we stop making new copies, pull the listing, and contact the developer. Discs already in players' hands stay theirs.
